Privacy, in plain language.
This page explains how information submitted through turkan.be is used. For questions or requests about your data, contact info@turkan.be.
What you share
An enquiry contains your name, email address and details of your occasion, such as its location, date, approximate guest count, styling preferences and message. A phone number is optional. Please avoid including sensitive information about yourself or your guests.
Why it is used
Your information is used to answer your enquiry, assess practical requirements and prepare a proposal at your request. If you agree to a service, relevant details are used to organise that service. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing messages.
Storage and access
Enquiries sent through the website are stored in a private area of the hosting server, outside publicly accessible site files. Access is restricted to authorised administration. Hosting and email providers may process data to deliver those services. Relevant details may be shared with a supplier where necessary to prepare or fulfil an agreed service, with no more information than needed.
How long information is kept
Enquiries are reviewed and manually deleted within 12 months of the last contact when no longer needed. Information relating to agreed work may need to be retained for longer where necessary to fulfil the agreement or meet applicable legal obligations.
Cookies and external services
This site does not use analytics or marketing cookies. Essential session cookies protect form submissions and administrative access. A language preference may be stored in your browser. WhatsApp opens an external service whose own privacy terms apply; no message is sent until you choose to send it there.
Your choices and questions
You can contact info@turkan.be to request access to, correction of or deletion of your information, or to raise an objection to its use. Requests are assessed in light of applicable rights and obligations. You may also contact the Belgian Data Protection Authority about a privacy concern.
